New background picture!
I have a new background picture. How exciting! Well, not really. It's not even new. I use the same one as my Twitter background and as my Facebook cover photo. I love floral prints and this is my favourite one. Once I was talking to my friend about my love of floral prints and I said I wanted to BE a floral print. This is true.

NOTD - Flormar Nail Polish
Yesterday while walking to work in the hot UAE sun I couldn't stop looking at my nails because this colour looks 10 times more lovely in the sunlight than in the shade.
It's the Flormar Nail Enamel in 431 which is a bright, electric blue with blue shimmer (I think). I talked about this nail polish in my previous collective haul post and I have a bad feeling that I am going to go back to the kiosk in Dubai and buy around 10 more nail polishes. They are really good quality and the range of colours is so impressive.
Onto the pictures!

Collective Haul - Flormar, Revlon, random skincare and shoes!
These are a couple of things I picked up at the mall while there for completely non-shopping purposes. Me + money + mall = buying things I never thought I needed.
I've only recently started really wearing make-up on a regular basis and going beyond just eyeliner and mascara. Lipstick is probably my favourite type of make-up item but since I would never wear it, I never bought it. Well that's changed. I bought TWO this month!
Let me just show you and list out the stuff I got. :)

5 TV shows I love
At any given point of time, I will be watching 2-3 TV shows and forgetting that I actually have a life to live and things to do. I absolutely love finding new TV shows to start watching even if I have to marathon-watch 3 seasons in one week to catch up with the new episodes.
I recently finished watching some pretty cool shows and wanted to share them with the Internet because I have no friends to gush about them to.
SO LETS DO THIS!
(Possible spoilers ahead)

Saving My Skin - Escentual purchase
Oh, what do I tell you about my skin?! It's an acne-scarred, confused mess and it makes me very sad. I am plagued by blackheads and on occasion one of them gets inflamed and I just HAVE to pick at it and get that evilness out of my face. (Blackheads are EEEEVIL!) Which in turn leaves a scar. My skin in also combination with a lot of itchy, dry areas around my cheeks.
After reading a TONNE of reviews, I decided to buy the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo. It's super expensive in the UAE (Around Dhs130) so I checked it out on Escentual where it was £8 during an offer (around Dhs44), which is a huge difference in price. The Effaclar Duo is supposed to be an unclogging moisturiser. Which is great since if it weren't for my damn blackheads I think I would have pretty decent skin.

The other two things I got were the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Solution and the A-Derma Epitheliale AH Repairing Cream. Both where kind of on a whim. I needed a make-up remover so the much raved about Bioderma was an obvious choice and the A-Derma Repairing Cream just sounded cool. It has ~hyaluronic acid~ woooooo.

Shoes I've been coveting
*sigh* If I could afford to buy shoes every week, I would. I love
looking at them, buying them, wearing them (even when I feel like they might kill
me) and showing them off. If my day has gone bad or I'm feeling kinda blue I
even walk around the house in a pair of heels to cheer me up (it works, I
swear).
Alas, I am just a normal girl
and my shoe wish list is always longer than the shoes-I-can-afford-right-now
list. These are a couple of heels that I've been staring at longingly online
for a while now. *fingers crossed* I will someday own them.
These Zara heels are super minimalist and a great way to get with the strappy, summer sandal trend. I have actually wanted these for ages and might just buy it this month and deal with the financial consequences later!
These Asos pumps are a bit pricey for me but that edgy metallic heel is too awesome to resist. I hope stocks for these shoes last until I can bloody afford it!
I'm trying to be better with my shoe choices because most of my heels are sky-high platforms that I can't wear without thinking about it 10 times. This low, casual wedge would go well with so many things and won't need me to be seated in order to be comfortable.
